Back at the university, we learn that the two women have been living together for a while, and that their mother has been reported to the police, but that the sisters will probably have to stay on campus for a little while longer. Miss Betsey is amazed at how quickly they've learned all this, and she wonders why they didn't tell the university sooner. She wonders if everyone in the world likes her, and wonders if they really think she's a "superstar" , and not a "regular girl" .
