When the girls are gone, the narrator realizes that he has lost his sister. He asks the other students if they have seen her, and they all admit that they have. The narrator tells them that he saw some girls gliding down the hallway outside his dorm. He follows them, but loockinda has lost them. The girls seem to have gone through the walls of the school, and the narrator is sure that he knows where they are. He tells the girls that he is looking for her in the sealed room.
