About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Miss Ane hasn't been seeing much of her sister since they've been talking. She's lame, and she's ignoring her sister's best efforts to get her to go to sleep. It's hard for her to wake up when she goes to bed, she says, because it's so hard to get up for her sister. The rain has finally stopped, and the girls are running around the school. The power has gone out, and everyone is running around. A girl in a nightgown is outside the school, just standing there. The girl's name is Ane Galloway, and it was 11 years ago. Two more girls are standing there, too, in their nightgowns. They belong to the same school, but they're different.
