In the middle of a long line to get a pastry from a nearby shop, the young man wonders why the line is so long. He's thirsty, he thinks, and he'd like to return to the lake, but he can't find a spot in the line. The old woman in front of him is also thirsty, but she's not in the same line as he is. The young man doesn't like people who jump the lines the most, so he tells the old woman not to try to get back into the line with him. He also tells the young woman that he's planning to play some basketball after the long wait, but it's getting late and he needs to go back home.
