The Governess tells Lockwood that she's so happy to be working with him. She's been watching Lockwood's every move, and she can't believe how much she likes him. Lockwood is so excited that he asks her to move into his new apartment. He's convinced that the Governess's new apartment is so much nicer than he expected it to be, and he wants her to be happy with it. He asks her if she'd like to use the bathroom on the first floor or the living room on the second floor. She says no, but she'll use the master bedroom on the third floor. Lockwood says that he'll have someone come regularly to clean his room, and that's all that'll need to be done.
