The scene opens with a knock on the door of the psychology department. It's the 15th day of lunar month, and the professor is already working. He tells the professor that he'll need him to read some books for the upcoming semester. The professor tells him that he can't do it all in two weeks, so he's going to need to read a couple of books first. He asks the professor to sit down and read some of the books first, but the professor doesn't have time to do so. He's impatient and complains about how hard it is for him to remember the books. He wonders if the professor has hyperthymeia, which is a memory disorder that makes people forget things. He wants to know why the professor keeps denying his love for him. He says that he isn't his psychiatrist anymore, and that he wants to see the professor because he has a patient that he needs to transfer to the professor.
