The narrator tells us that he's going to meet up with his new best friend at his boyfriend's place for the first time. He's a little nervous about meeting up with this guy, but he promises to do his best to make it work. He tells the guy that he can come over anytime he wants, but that he has to be careful not to say anything that might make the other guy uncomfortable. The two of them head over to the studio, where the narrator finds a ring that he dropped when he was kidnapped. The ring turns out to be the ring that the narrator gave to the boy. The narrator is bummed that the ring has fallen off his finger, but it's his fault, he says, because the narrator has been neglecting to pay attention to him.
