When the narrator returns to his hometown of loong city, he finds that his little audience has grown to love him. He tells his mom that he wants to ask her to buy him another guitar so that he can continue to play. He also tells her that he has found a part-time gig playing the guitar and that he does not have to smoke as much as he used to. He asks her why she is hanging out with the club girl and she tells him that it is too expensive for her to stay up all night. She tells him to go back to the university and asks him if he would like some milk tea.
