The assistant points out that the company didn't notice that some of its core materials had been sold to someone else. Duans response is that he thinks there's a big loophole in the way the company manages its information security, since he is the deputy director. He asks Duan why he is being looked at so much, and Duan says that he has to help Duan fight back. He also tells the assistant that he disagrees with the assistant's proposal that Duan should be given the position of information security chief. The Assistant says that since Duan is senior to him, he'd prefer that he be given that position. He says that the assistant should just resign himself to the position.
