In this chapter, Cai Ming-liang, also known as the "little boy," confronts the officers who are trying to arrest Duan-Feng. He is furious that the officers dare to approach him, and he accuses them of being too weak to protect him. He also accuses the officers of not being able to protect his woman. He tells them that he has a chest injury and his eyes are "so cold" and "piss off." He tells the officers to stay away from him, but the officers refuse to listen to him. They send the little boy away, and the captain tells him that they have a suspect under arrest. The little boy tells the captain that he did not break the law by staring at the policewoman. The captain tells the boy that it is illegal for a man to stare at a woman, and that he should obey the captain's orders. The boy says that the captain is "scared" of him, because he knows that the woman has gotten a "boob job." The captain says that this woman has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant and that she has been demoted. He says that he would have "screwed her over" by now
