Since the beginning of the novel, we've heard a lot about the love triangle between qiuqiu and his first love and his second love. We've also heard that he's fallen in love with a girl named Anqing, and that she's the one he wants to train to be his granddaughter's nanny. The narrator tells us that this is the first time he'd heard of this kind of thing before. He also says that anqing's a good girl, and she'll be the perfect nanny for his granddaughter, who's going to be a law student someday.
