In this chapter, Orochi is revived by the cloudy sky. She tells the girls that things have been strange in the past few days. The son of the Kumo had reported that a prisoner had escaped, but the men had denied it. They also had rumors about opium. Orochi wants to know if the men know about the opium. They do, she says, but she knows better than anyone else. She asks the girls to report back to her. The girls tell her that they are sick and that she has to warn Takeda not to get close to another freeloader. She also tells them that she is stronger than them.
