Tenka is worried about his brother's health. He asks chutaro and soramaru if they're going out for dinner. They say no, but Tenka wants to know what happened to his brother. He tells them to come to the doctor's office and get some medicine. He also tells them that he's dying. He's not sure what's wrong with him, but he doesn't know what to say. Tenka tells them not to worry. He wants them to take care of him. He says he'll die soon, but that he wants to hear something from them first. They should take some medicine, he says, because his antibodies are weak. They're supposed to be shinobis, or keepers of the house, and Tenka says that's what they should do. They eat all the vegetables at Tenka's house, which makes him feel better. When Tenka comes by next, he tells him that he is his brother, and that they need to get him well before he dies. They both know that it's hard to lose a loved one, and they both know how hard it is to leave a job. They ask each other if they have any other places to go, and tenka says he just wanted to see if they knew each other from Gokumonjo. They know each other, but they haven't seen each other in a long time. They decide to go out to find each other.
