The scene opens with a beef sandwich, coffee, and a question: where is ian? Nope, he's not at work. He's in his office looking at some paperwork. We learn that he and ian have been living together for a while, and that they're getting ready to move out of their parents' house. We also learn that ian is worried about the reaction of his co-workers, since they already knew that he was gay. He says that he doesn't think he needs to worry about that, but he does worry about how people will react when they find out about their new life together. Ooh, it's weird that he didn't pay attention to the fact that she was looking at him all the time. He also says that the whole family is a family, and they all respect ian and his choice. He asks if they should visit ian after the move-in, but she says she's nervous that she might make a mistake. She says that her dad is relieved that she is with him, but that she can't go to see him because ian blocked her from seeing him. She asks if he threatened him, and he says he did. He then asks if she threatened him again, and she says that if he shows up again, he won't be able to beat her again. She then asks him if he'd like to apologize, and when he says no, she apologizes for not apologizing on her own. She tells him that she wants to be with him for the rest of her life, but if she ever wants to leave him, she'll marry him like her boss did.
