It's been a week since the trial, and we're told that it's safe to say that the jury found her guilty. We're also told that she collected a lot of evidence in the trial that proved her innocence, and that's why she was able to get away with it. We also learn that she's not sure how to tell Doyle's dad about her injury, so she'll have to wait a week before she can tell him about it. Ellie is also in the hospital, and she tells us that she was worried when she first got the call, but she doesn't know how to talk to Doyle. She's also worried that the doctor won't be able to see her, so they're going to have to go see the doctor herself. The doctor isn't there yet, and they've been waiting for a long time. They finally get to the doctor, and he's nowhere to be found. They find out that the dog was picked up by her boyfriend's boyfriend, and the dog must have been interested in her. They're not sure if the dog is straight or not, but they don't really know what to make of it. They eat, and then they'll be back the next day.
