In the end, the young prince fulfills his mission and goes back to his home country. He asks his mom why they keep the bird in the cage because they want it to stay safe. She tells him that he has to try harder in order to get on the stage like his mother. He tells her that summer is coming to an end and that he should go out for some fun. He begs his dad to let him go, but his dad says that he's already made his vacation arrangements. Eventually, the bird dies.
