The scene opens in the school library, where Agnes is waiting for her friend, Sebastian, to return from the dentist's office. Sebastian, who has just returned from a visit to the dentist, asks Agnes to come and tutor him. Agnes, however, is not interested in tutoring Sebastian, and so she leaves him to his own devices. When Sebastian returns, he finds that Agnes has left her phone in the classroom and that she has forgotten to bring it with her. Sebastian tries to console Agnes by reminding her that she is no longer his friend, but she is not convinced.
