About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a flashback to the events of the previous chapter. In this chapter, the protagonist explains that he resigned from his position as the general manager of the dream world because he was tired of chasing rules and wanted to see a change in the world. He gave up his position and was placed underground as an assistant manager to keep an eye on him. The protagonist asks why he didn't stop white dream. He says he wished for change and that he expected to see more change if what he did was wrong. He also says that he hoped that dream world would stop its progression in the future because he assumed that dream worlds would stop their progression there. The child asks if the protagonist fought against the general because he cared about dream world, and the protagonist replies that he did. He adds that each of them can pursue their own goals, as each of their goals was related to the other. The boy asks if he's going to make the white dream manager again, or is he going to take his old position back. The kid says he doesn't care if he takes his old job back, because he only cares about the future. He promises to make sure that the managers don't harm the dream healers and that if they try to harm him, he'll be the one who stops them.
