In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named "Ai," who is a member of the "young, vibrant, and romantic" company "seek right." We learn that "ai" is the lead of the company's upcoming video, and that "xue jing" is to play the part of "a tech freak" in the video. The narrator explains that the purpose of the video is to refute the rumors that "Seek Right" has changed "Xue Jing" into a "slovenly man" who cares less about his appearance than his "attractive guy silence crap." In order to do so, the company will release an advertisement, in which "a i" will play the role of "the lead."
