In this chapter, we meet the co-founders of "seek right," the popular dating app. They're here to tell the story of how they met and fell in love with each other through the use of the app. We learn that they've been working on the app for a while now, and that their boss, Cai Ming-liang, and his girlfriend, Zillah, are in the middle of an interview. The two of them are wearing their wedding clothes, and Cai Ming chimes in that he's already broken off his relationship with Zillah. He tells us that he and Zillah broke up five years ago, when Zillah was studying abroad. He doesn't know whether the break-up was good or bad, but he does know that zitong's family is indifferent to him, and might have bullied him if he had stayed in China.
