Anran, a friend of Linhao's, arrives at the house and is greeted by his mother, who asks him to come home quickly. Linhao, however, is too young to be a guest, so Anran asks to speak to someone else. When Anran does not recognize his mother's voice, he tells her that he has not seen her in ten years, and that he and Anran used to go out together when they were kids. He asks her to wait for Anran to come back, and she says that she will wait for him. Anran's friend, leo, arrives, and the two are interrupted by the arrival of his sister, elsa, and her friend, louis. elsa tells him that Anran has been hit on the head by someone, but that he does not seem to have been robbed.
