Two children are injured in a house fire. One is a 5-year-old boy who has minor injuries to his face and the other is an 11 year-old girl who has lung damage and ablutions on her forehead caused by inhaling too much smoke. The injured children are separated from their parents by a wall of thick smoke. Antanas wakes up and asks Linhao why he hasn't told her who she is. Linhao says he didn't want to tell her when they first met, because he thought she'd recognize him instantly. He says he came home to see someone important to him and that he almost got killed back then, but he doesn't blame Linhao for that.
