In this short scene, we learn that Lin hao has fallen in love with Gui Guizhou's sister, Madame Guizhou, and that Guizhou has made a new business deal with a magazine in order to woo her. We learn that the two of them were neighbors when they were younger, and Guizhou learned how to make dessert from his grandfather. When he returned to China, however, he did not know how to do business properly, so he came back to China to help him. He is now married to Guizhou and loves her very much.
