This chapter's epigraph comes from a conversation between Huo and Yon. Huo tells Yon that he has a history with Yon's stockholder, and Yon tells him that years of struggling have cost him his love and passion. Yon tells Huo that he is sorry, but he is no longer that "silver moonlight" that Yon was seeking. Yon says that he and Huo will have to take down Yon first before they can help Yon.
