In this chapter, we're introduced to a young girl named Yaoyao, who's just returned from her first day of school. She's very excited to be back at school, but she's worried that her parents are stupid and don't know how to take care of their daughter. She tells her father that he should be patient with her until she gets used to school, because she'll grow up to be friends with other kids. She also tells her parents that they shouldn't worry about the restaurant because they're innocent, and that they should just keep an eye out for her at school. They've installed surveillance cameras at the restaurant, but they've been busy making money off of it. Yaoyaos parents are totally clueless about how to deal with their daughter, so they just ignore her. They think that her new clothes will make her better, and they think that other kids will love her, too. They also think that their daughter's father is rich, but he doesn't have the money to buy her fancy new clothes. They just ignore the fact that her father is a poor guy who sells coffee at the local coffee shop. So, they just keep playing with her, and when she finally comes back, she tells them that her dad has made her some cookies, and she wants to share them with her friends at school the next day
