Aww, what a shame. tao ties the goods, and the narrator is happy to see him. He says that the goods have already been prepared, and that he'll be back soon. He thanks tao for always being so reliable, and then he says that a raccoon dog has drilled a hole in his house, and his store's goods have been completely sold out. He apologizes to jing for not having seen each other in two days, and they drink milk together. jing asks if he can bring his baby to the bathroom, and she says that she's afraid that jing isn't her real name, but that's okay.
