This chapter's epigraph comes from a famous line from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, in which Romeo asks Juliet if she is going to kill him. Juliet replies that she is not going to. She tells the boy that she will not forgive him if he tries to kill her. The boy tells her that he will kill her if she does not leave him alone. Juliet tells him that he is not worthy of her love, and she tells him to leave her alone.
