The old man explains that the symbiotic type is when two spirits share a "carrier of life" . He explains that they need the power of a six-eared monkey so that they can do anything they want, even if they ask for it. He tells the old man that they searched for the kid because of the "six-eared macaque" and that he has never received help from anyone in his life. He says he has been running away his whole life, and now that he realizes that he can do some good, he will leave. He calls for the monkey to come out, but he says he will not let the monkey "control me anymore" and he will kill him all if he does not. He asks if the kid is afraid of losing, and he says, "I have never lost in fighting!"
