In this chapter, the demon king and the monkey king are testing their strength against one another. The demon king is confident that he will win. He says that he has suffered many injuries in the fight, and that he does not feel any thrill in fighting. The monkey king says that his body is paralyzed. The pain of his attacks gradually lessens with each hit. The damage he has inflicted on the possessed person is unchanged. The number of times he has landed a blow on the subject is the same as the number of fractures in his fingers. The loss of pain does not affect his ability to defend himself. He will use one last blow to end the life of the possessed man.
