In this chapter, we learn that the main character is a man named "dan sheng" . He's been fighting with a demon named "huai yin" , and he's about to run out of time. He wants to kill both of them, but he also wants to make sure that the other one doesn't die. He tells the other demon that he'll leave the rest of the fight to him, so that he can rest and recover. He also says that if the two of them come after him, they can come at him together. He says that, as long as he kills the other, the barrier between them can be lifted. He promises to kill anyone who comes between him and his prey. He then explains that in his own space, all of his fighting abilities are useless. In other words, he can only use his own fighting abilities to defeat his opponent. This is why he calls the other guy a "sandbox." He then says that he knows that the girl is with de zhang, and that's why they can't allow him to escape. The other demon, he says, has two choices: he can stay and save the girl, or he can kill him and go back to the earth to save her. He concludes that all of them must die.
