In the middle of the night, the old man wakes up and tells the young man to wake up. He wants to know where they're going. The old man tells him that he's going to sleep, and that he needs to get some rest. He also tells him to get his body in tip-top shape for the next battle. He says that if you're not strong enough, you won't be able to do well in future battles. The young man has to learn to use his "flow" , which is basically a fancy way of saying that he can't do anything for a long time. He's also going to have to learn how to fight with his own hands. He doesn't know how to do this, but he promises to help them find some of the soul fragments and then he'll kill the monkey king himself. The two men head back to the boxing arena.
