About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the body of the mortal cannot handle the flow of life, and that the flow is the same as that of the monkey. In other words, even the gods and demons can't use their own flow, which is why the flow that's flooding out of the body is also the flood of the monkeys. The only thing that can stop this flow is your willpower, and this is what we're going to hear from the old man. The old man reminds us that he's the bearer of this flow, so he can control it. He tells us that if the flow doesn't stop, the damage will be like that of a "nuclear bomb" . He reminds us again that the barrier of the solid birch can withstand the impact of another dimension, so long as the barrier is strong enough to resist the other dimension's impact. He says that the rest of the flow depends on the willpower of the bearer, and he reminds us once again that he is the one who can control the flow. We're reminded again that this is the first time we've ever heard of the term "carrying the flow" , so we'll have to believe it. We also learn that this flow isn't just for the mortal; it's also for the monkeys, who are also carrying the flow, too. The flow is so strong that even if the barrier were strong enough, it wouldn't be able to withstand
