When eden asks why he's hanging out with Enoshima, he explains that it's because she's been away from him for a while. Enoshima is reluctant to hang out with him, but eden drags her away to talk to him. eden tells Enoshima that he'll never see her again, and that he won't give her to anyone. He also tells eden that he can't talk to Enoshima again, either, because he doesn't want to be associated with the school's student council. He's not happy about the fact that some of the students are from other schools, and he wants to make sure that they don't hang out too much with the other students. He wants to know why they're hanging out so much with other students, and Enoshima tells him that they've allowed themselves to be bound up by the "chains of tradition" for too long. He then tells edden that he was always with maru, and maru never saw him as a rival for okitsu's affections. He thinks that Enoshima just wants to stand out, and wants to change the school so that the students will be free from the "school bully" . . He says that maru is "seriously simple minded" , which means that he thinks he can make the school "bully free" by making the students eat vegetables together. He even says that he even saved Enoshima from being a bully by making him eat vegetables with vegetables. , he says, if Enoshima keeps up his picky eating habits, he will never grow.
