When Onitsuka opens the door to let them in, the gang tries to talk him out of letting them have it with him. They're worried that he's about to commit suicide, and they want to see if he can slip down the side of the building and kill himself. He tries to calm them down, but they're not having it. He tells them to keep their eyes on the sky and not worry about him. He's not trying to kill himself, he just wants to get down on his hands and knees and do his thing. He doesn't want to hurt anyone, and he wants to do it safely. He wants to be able to slip and fall, and if he does, it'll be a good thing, because it will make him feel better. He asks the girl to hold onto the door so that he can get down safely, but she refuses, saying that she's worried about him, too. He says that if he falls down, he'll feel better, and that's all he needs to do. She tells him to keep his eyes open, but he says that he wants nothing to do with suicide, just to be safe. He goes on to say that, if he hadn't recognized her with her long hair, he wouldn't have recognized her at all. He thanks her, and she says that she didn't just want to thank him, she wanted to thank the whole class of girls in the school for being so nice to her.
