On the morning of her first day at school, Sakurai meets up with her new friend, aka maru. She's excited to meet him because he's wearing a special edition jacket that she lent him. He's super excited to see her, too, because he thinks she's cute. He tells her that he met her at a party and they're still hanging out, but he doesn't know if he'll fit in with her class yet. He also tells her about his crush on her boyfriend, who he thinks is royalty in Japan. He asks her if she has a boyfriend, and she says she does, but she can't figure out how to be friends with someone like him. She also tells him that she'd never have a boyfriend if it weren't for him.
