When the chapter opens, Hiroyuki and his friends are walking through the streets of Toranosuke. They've decided to go out for a little party, and Hiroyuki asks if they're going to call it a "lovers' party" . He's thinking about inviting the whole gang, but he's worried that they won't show up, so he decides to invite only four people: Hiroyuki, Hota, satomi, and hananoi. Hiroyuki is psyched about the idea of going out with his friends, since he hasn't been to a lot of parties since arriving in Tokyo. He tells Hotako that he'll tell her all about his past, and she'll be cool with it. She doesn't seem to mind, though, and they go off to play a game of bowling.
