He asks if he is sure that he loves her, and she tells him that love is different for different people. She asks him why they should take a break from one another, and he tells her that they should eat lunch on their own, and then walk home separately. He tells her about his parents, who work in developing countries and give medical care to children whose families cannot afford it. She says that she used to care for him, but that she doesn't know how to take care of a child abroad, so she has burned herself while cooking for him.
