The girl is the one he loves, and he'll do anything to get her to love him. He's got a meeting, too sorry, he tells her. He wants to walk her home, but he can't find her right now. He asks her if she'd like to surprise him with a hug, and she says that she would, but she hasn't heard from him yet. The narrator tells her that someday, someone special will show up in her life and she'll learn how to love them.
