For the past six months, the doctor and his patient have been hanging out at a restaurant in Hayashi, a small town in northeastern Japan. The doctor says that the restaurant is "just plain chinese place" with "half decent internet reviews" . He says that it's nice to be around someone who is so happy. He asks why he thinks Mami dumped him, and the doctor explains that he has always been attracted to "energetic" people like Mami. When he saw the doctor eating the gyoza with a younger woman, he realized that what he wanted was a "comforting relationship" , and so they decided to go house hunting.
