In this chapter, the Time Traveller explains that he has reached the end of his supply chain, and that he is no longer able to escape the dungeon. He tells Chen Wen that he once promised that he would keep on living, but that he now feels like he is going to break his promise and die like a wimp. Instead, he wants to die as a man. The Time Traveller's system is called the "resurrection system." In this system, whenever a person commits a self-destructive act, he receives points, which can be used to revive him. After every revival, he will be rewarded with a large sum of money. The time traveler is amazed at the amount of money he is being rewarded for his actions. He wonders if he would have died in the "endless game" if he had not read so many web novels. He also wonders if the time travel system is real. He is shocked to find out that it is actually a university classroom. He wants to know what the heck is going on. He realizes that the time traveler system is not real, but he still wants to try it out.
