The next morning, Dr. Barlow wakes up with a broken arm. He's been collecting parts from the robots, and he's worried about what to do now that his arm's gone. He makes a special robot arm for the guy, which he'll call "Man's Best Friend" . He also gives him an anesthetic so he can use it to control the pain of the broken arm . It's painful, he says, but he doesn't blame the guy for the pain. He says he would've given the guy a bomb in his arm if he'd known it was going to happen, but now he feels jealous about the guy's loss of his arm. The doctor tells everyone to get out of the lab as soon as he can. He can't find the target, and the rest of the people in the room are all infected with the same zombie virus as he is. He has to go through all of them to find out what else he can do.
