Now that he's got 800 experience points, the guy is ready to go out and get food and water. He's a little bummed that the monster dropped his book of skills, but then he realizes that it's his job to protect the people, so he'll go out to help them out. The two of them get into a fight, and then the guy runs off to get some water and food.
