In this chapter, we learn that the dungeon has been transformed into a "safe zone" . In other words, it's now safe from all kinds of nasty things. This means that the monsters can't attack the safe zone, which means that everyone will be safe. The only problem is that the resources at the school aren't unlimited, and if they run out, they'll die. This is why the governor is so important. He'll make sure that everyone's safe, even though he's an idiot. The guy's done it before, and he'll do it again. The kid's got a bunch of self-destruct points, so he can do whatever he wants with them. But first, he has to obey the governor's orders. He tells the kid to come to his room and serve him like a king, and then he tells him to run away from the school. He says that's the only way to beat fear.
