This chapter opens with a soliloquy by the father of Haruka. He tells his son that he cannot bear the thought of his daughter's sex life with a beastman. He knows that he is different from all other beastmen, but he can't change his instinct as one of them. He asks his son if his parents know about his relationship with Haruka, and he says that they don't yet, but that they will know soon enough. The father tells him to go get the blessing of his parents and the other beastsmen around him for his love for Haruka and not to run away and elope. He says that Haruka is pushing him to do what he wants, and that he will have to fight her again. He then tells him that he can overcome all of the good luck that has come his way. He invites them to have some tea, and tells them that he made them their favorite fruit tea. He also tells them to drink black cans of coffee because it is bad for them, and to put some milk in it, because milk is good for them
