In this short scene, Hirokazu's brother, Masami, explains that he has become a mediator between his sister and her brother. He explains that years of separation have left him and Masami in a state of "in the state" they were in earlier in the episode. He says that he can't bear to be apart from his brother, and that he hasn't been able to visit Masami at home for years. He also says that Masami's expression on the day of their meeting made him seem like a "full of life" . He asks Masami if he can do anything to help Masami. Masami says he'll stop helping out if Masami doesn't want him to.
