The next morning, the Governess is surprised to find that the young man she has just met is not as good at cooking as she thought he would be. The Governess thanks him for making her food the day before, and asks him if he is sure that the food will taste as good as it did. The young man says that he is not sure, and the two begin to argue about whether or not he should eat the food.
