Soji tells Yuko that he's sorry for hurting him, and he promises to make her lemonade if she needs it. Yuko thanks him for saving her life, and soji says that if he hadn't told her about the mole, he would have told her that it was a good thing she didn't tell her mom about it. He says that his mom's influence on him was great, but now that they've met, he realizes that it's not the best way to live, and that he has to decide for himself.
