In this short scene, we learn that thud is upset that his brother has made him a "gay" man. He tells us that he's glad that his parents don't approve of his "serious" relationship with his brother. He's also happy that he can make his brother cry when he makes him sad. He asks if he can take a walk with him. They agree to meet again after he gets a job and becomes an independent man
