On the first night of their sexual encounter, Mim--whom they call "the prince"--and Spica--the princess's lover--are about to get into a fight when they are interrupted by a creak in the pant leg. Mim and Spica are about to have sex when they hear a knock at the door. The pant leg creaks and Mim tries to get it to stop, but it doesn't. Spica, however, is not having any of it. She thinks that the prince is trying to poison her, and she wonders if the prince has already done the same thing to Mim.
