The next morning, Mim--whom we'll call "flap" for short--is having a hard time remembering where he's been. He's worried that he'll have to go back in time to protect the world from the villain's daughter, Spica, and the prince. He also worries that he won't be able to get back to the world he left behind because Spica's cousin, Sebastian, is the main target of the prince's affections. When he finally gets to the point, however, he realizes that he doesn't really care about Sebastian at all. He just wants to talk to spica.
